When the canning factory shut
down Mr Franz lost his job and ended up hiring on at a retirement home for
former strippers. The job was “aide” on the form he filled out. His wife had her
suspicions and didn’t like it but he grew to like the work, mostly carrying
meals to old girls in scanty clothes, mopping spills and listening to old lies.
Epiphany had all her old pictures on the wall and was famous for shooting a
ping pong ball out of her parts.
