Peggy made pies. On Friday, she
was up early baking three for the Lutz Bakery, plus an extra for dinner. Her
husband was bringing an associate and his wife to dinner. After delivering the
three pies, she shopped then polished the silver. While preparing dinner and
shifting the pie, it fell out of her hands and was ruined. By pure coincidence,
the guests brought a Lutz pie for dinner, one of the very rhubarb cherry pies
she had baked that morning.
